OnePlus 13R full specs leak

The OnePlus 13 is set to launch globally next month, after it was announced for China a few days ago. The flagship is also likely to be joined at the same event by the OnePlus 13R, which is the successor to the 12R and is a more affordable, yet high-end option. This is likely a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5, which is also set to arrive in China this month, and today the 13R’s specifications have leaked.
It is said to come with a 6.78-inch 1264×2780 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and better peak brightness than the 12R (though how bright it will get hasn’t been mentioned). At the helm will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in one configuration, but there will apparently be two more.

There will be a triple camera setup at the back consisting of two 50-megapixel sensors and an 8-megapixel snapper. While the leak doesn’t go into detail, we assume the main camera will be 50-megapixels and there will also be a telephoto (possibly 2x or 3x), while the ultrawide will be 8-megapixels.
The OnePlus 13R will reportedly pack a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. While the battery is better than the 5,500mAh cell on its predecessor, charging drops to 100W. The phone will run OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, unsurprisingly.
Its in-display fingerprint sensor will be of the optical variety, not ultrasonic like the OnePlus 13. The 13R measures 161.72 x 75.77 x 8.02mm, which means it is slightly smaller and thinner than the 12R. It is also a gram lighter. It will be offered in two colour variants, called Nebula Noir and Astral Trail.
